                               RESOLUTION NO. 19013
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
                   FINANCE OFFICER TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST,
                   RESPECTIVELY, A COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH
                   TEAMSTER RETIREE HOUSING OF CHATTANOOGA,
                   INC. RELATIVE TO SPONSORSHIP OF A 24-UNIT
                   RESIDENTIAL FACILITY FOR THE RETIRED AND
                   HANDICAPPED.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor and City Finance Officer 
be
       and are hereby authorized to execute and attest, respectively, a
       Cooperation Agreement with Teamster Retiree Housing of
       Chattanooga, Inc. relative to the development of a 24-unit
       residential facility for the retired and handicapped; and
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor and City Finance
       Officer be and are hereby authorized to execute an agreement,
       pursuant to T.C.A. A767-5-207, for the payment of certain funds 
in
       lieu of taxes by paying a minimum of five percent (5%) of the
       Shelter Rent to the City of Chattanooga.  These payments will be
       due and payable in lieu of taxes.
